I really don't remember ever feeling this scolded after watching a film in my entire life. It’s that time of the year again for a disappointing thriller featuring a whole bunch of Black people of which one is really crazy.... And that certainly crosses the mind of Dr. Tom Seymour during the course of his interactions with young Ian.Not when he’s pulling him out of the river where Tom (Tom is a criminal psychologist, and it’s only when he visits the man he saved in the hospital that he realizes he didn’t know him as “Ian.” That’s a new name, issued by the court. At the end we see a Jekyll and Hyde and in order for Tom to keep Danny from coming back, he has to save himself.BG: YES. However, nothing about Charles seems approachable. Was this review helpful? John C. McGinley plays the lawyer who prosecuted the kid while Robert Clohessy appears as the aloof, irate father. Stiles doesn’t bring a single thing to her which feels noteworthy. That’s it.Not to imply she doesn’t have a life of her own, she is an artist with some notoriety.
The dialog makes very little sense. Poor plot, poor script and unrealistic characters and behaviours. Was hoping for another movie to be good when I wasn’t expecting it to be. The end of the movie is absurd — but sometimes a good capper is.

Really bad script, direction, story. This movie is all about wannabe and turns out not to be about much of anything. However, what little props the film gives her doesn’t craft someone you want to invest in. Do not waste your time. The problem now is that Danny keeps showing up everywhere Tom and his wife Lauren (Julia Stiles) happen to be. Was this review helpful?
